How to fix res://ieframe.dll/acr_error.htm error
You will get frustrated if you get following error and all tabs in browser of Internet Explorer gets refreshed with same error.
If you expand the details of error on IE . It shows following message
"When a website causes a failure or crash, Internet Explorer attempts to restore the site. It stops after two tries to avoid an endless loop. "
Solution -
1. Try reset IE back to default. There is option in Tools , Advance to reset IE.
2. It might be a third party add-on which is giving an error or any pending windows updates which is not install properly. So Turn off all Add-On and try . If worked Turn-On one add-on at a time and find issue causing one.
Please follow the instructions given below to use Internet Explorer (No add-ons) to identify any add-ons that are causing errors.
· Click Start
· Click All Programs
· Click Accessories
· Click System Tools
· Click Internet Explorer (No add-ons)
· Click Tools
· Click Manage Add-ons
· Click Toolbars and Extensions
· Under Show: click All add-ons
· Click any add-on
· Press CTRL + A on your keyboard (this should select all add-ons)
· Click Disable all
· Click Close
· Close Internet Explorer (No add-ons)
· Open Internet Explorer3. Above both did not work for me so I have added issue causing site to compatibility mode site lists from Tools , Compatibility View Setting and opened site in IE (No add-ons) and it worked.
Site was rendering not in well format but I was able to use it.
4. Reinstall IE from scratch.
